Once upon a time there was an Aussie girl named Angela, and a Kiwi boy named Brendon, and their two girls, Poppy & Saffron (yes, they love Saffron that much!). With a lifelong ambition to get back to their country roots, & a passion for amazing produce, in 2016 they took a deep breath and packed up & moved from their lives, friends, family and corporate jobs in Sydney, to Orange in regional NSW.

 

After a lot of soil testing, & backbreaking ground preparation, care & love, they hand planted their first 2500 saffron corms in 2018. The climate in Orange is perfect for Saffron, which likes 4 distinct seasons to thrive.

 

Fast forward 3 years, a huge amount of hard work, trial and error, they now maintain around 100,000 saffron corms (and growing) which produce some of the highest quality saffron in the world! The Argyles also begun using a special drying method, unique they believe to anyone in Australia which involves using humidity in their drying process. Studies have shown this quickly locks in maximum crocin content, and the result is maximum colour, flavour and aroma. This has resulted in overwhelming and consistent feedback that their saffron is especially potent, requiring only a fraction of what you would usually use in dishes.

Argyle Australian Saffron produces the highest quality saffron from their property on the volcanic foothills of Mount Canoblas, in Orange NSW

Our Vanilla is grown under the canopy of the tropical Far North Queensland rainforest.

We live in the perfect environment and climate to grow Vanilla, and as such our products are 100% natural and organic. 

After eight years of experimentation we have refined our curing practices to ensure our product is of the highest calibre. 

The range of products we offer including whole bean pods, Vanilla essence and Vanilla powder will compliment any recipe. 

To ensure best quality control we involve no third party in growing and production; we grow, cure and create each product ourselves on the farm.

Bloomfield Vanilla is a small family run farm in the picturesque Bloomfield River Valley.

We roast, flavour and make macadamia nut butters out of the nuts grown on the farm. We find the products are a healthy and rich pantry staple for gluten free and dairy free diets. Most products are vegan and all the macadamias we use are grown on our family farm between the Brother Mountains on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Gondwana Macadamias create nourishing and enriching macadamia products designed for everyday kitchen and bathroom routines. Our Northern Rivers macadamia orchard thrives under the watchful eyes and caring hands of our family, reflecting our genuine commitment to quality. The macadamias we grow are skilfully harvested, dehusked, stored and roasted onsite before being crafted into our extensive product range.
Our special, ancient Macadamia Tetraphylla, sits on the highest part of the farm, gracing us with her incredibly sweet scented pink flowers each spring and delicious creamy nuts each Autumn and it is this tree that has inspired much of our work including our logo!

The products were the result of the Grund family needing to satisfy their palates with high quality chilli sauces, relishes and chutneys. Not being able to purchase these products anywhere near their hometown of Kimba, in rural South Australia, they decided to grow their own ingredients on their farm and make their own unique products.

After 25 years of making, tasting and mastering the family recipes, their delicious products are now sought after throughout Australia.

Ian Hemphill, also known as Herbie, can’t remember when herbs and spices were not a part of his life. The younger son of John and Rosemary Hemphill, who pioneered Australia’s love of herbs and spices in the 1950’s, Ian earned his pocket money picking herbs and remembers many a season when the family home was strewn with bunches of drying culinary produce. Ian & Liz met at NIDA and married in 1970. Upon realising that herbs and spices were more interesting than acting, Ian worked with his parents for many years, and while their three daughters were growing up Liz worked in the Somerset Cottage shop in Dural. During the mid 1980’s Ian managed a spice company in Singapore before becoming a senior manager for a multinational food company in Australia in the 1990’s. In 1997 Ian and Liz opened the specialty spice business in the Sydney suburb of Rozelle, which naturally was named after the nickname Ian had since school days,…..Herbie’s. Herbie’s Spices was founded to fill a need in the community of cooks and food lovers who wanted to access hard-to-find herbs and spices, have access to reliable information and be assured of the very best quality available in the world.  Herbie and Liz are now enjoying sharing their extensive knowledge and experience with food lovers in Australia and overseas.

Herbie’s Spices is a family owned Spicery based in Charmhaven, NSW. They provide a range of quality dried herbs, spices and unique, all-natural spice blends.

Direct from our small farm, where it is planted, grown, harvested and packed by hand, everything is done with a focus on producing nutrient dense, organic fresh garlic. In line with our no waste and regenerative approach to growing, we are committed to using and selling the whole of this versatile little plant and we hope this gives you something new and exciting to try in the kitchen. 

We grow a wide variety of provenanced garlic and encourage folk to match the garlic to the cultural heritage of the dish.

Our innovative green garlic powder was awarded Champion in the 2021 RAS Fine Food Show. Developed to deliver a vibrant pop of colour, it is a flavoursome fine powder with a velvety texture that is easy to distribute. It takes garlic beyond the bulb and will surprise and delight.

Longview Garlic is a small farm in the Southern Tablelands of NSW that grows and sells fresh green garlic, cured garlic, and dried garlic products.


Planted in the 1940's, The Mount Zero Olive Grove is one of oldest olive groves in Australia.

The Farm
A total of 6000 Spanish Manzanilla and Gordal Olive trees line the base of the Grampians most northern summit - Mount Zero. Here we practice biodynamic farming techniques and have the international Demeter certification. The grove is self-sustaining in its farming practices - feeding the trees directly from the soil humus rather than chemical inputs and our energy supply is sourced from off-grid wind and solar generators.

What we harvest is of huge importance to us but how we harvest is even more important. Ethical and sustainable harvest is a current buzzword in the world of food and produce but we've built a brand over the past 20 years based on respect to the environment, the people of our region and the customers that consume our goods.

Our Mount Zero olive grove is Demeter certified Bio-dynamic practicing a holistic and chemical free approach to growing. We endeavour to grow and source as much organic produce as possible as we strongly believe that less is more in the treatment of edible goods.

Commitment to flavour, sustainable farming and a passion for quality ingredients defines Mount Zero and all that we gather.

Mount Zero Olives

Mount Zero Olives is a family-owned olive grove three hours west of Melbourne on the northern edge of the Grampians National Park in Victoria, Australia.

‘Prickle Hill’ is situated on a sand hill 15ks South West of Coleambally NSW. The 40ha Property is planted to Sugar Plums for the fresh and dried fruit (Prunes) markets. In 2012, 2.5 ha of Jujubes (Chinese Red Dates) were planted, with the remaining 8ha planted under a Biodiversity Incentive Plan, encouraging the long-term survival of native flora and fauna.

Prickle Hill Produce is Owned and operated by Roy and Judy Duffell. Roy is a third-generation prune grower. In 1920, his grandfather, William Duffell, established a fruit orchard at Yenda in the MIA. William was known as ‘the fruit salad king’, famous for his nectarines. Roy’s father, John Duffell, carried on the tradition and went on to grow peaches, apricots, oranges, grapes and sugar plums.

In 1993 Roy purchased and developed a Prune orchard in the sandy loam soils at Coleambally. Since then, he has been involved in the research and development of growing different varieties of prune clones for the advancement of the Australian Prune Industry (IPA).

Roy’s son, James John Duffell, has returned to the farm, as the fourth generation. James divides his time between the farm, and you can find him showcasing the farm produce at Farmers Markets in and around Sydney. James shares his father’s commitment to organic and natural farming practices, and above all to quality. Working together, father and son are diversifying the produce now grown on the farm. Prickle Hill now grows oranges, quinces, figs, plums, peaches, jujubes, lemons, loquats, olives and apricots. Fresh, preserved, or dried- Roy and James are committed to getting this wonderful produce from the farm to your table in the highest possible quality.

Sea Health Products is a family business, sustainably hand harvesting Golden Kelp {Ecklonia radiata} from our stunning beaches on the far south coast of NSW. Golden Kelp, or Sea Kelp (seaweed) contains more than 60 essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements and is increasingly being recognised as an important natural source of vital nutritional requirements.
Kelp contains magnesium, calcium, iron, copper, potassium, zinc and natural sea salt. It has the highest natural concentration of calcium of any food (10 times more than milk) and is an excellent alternative to salt. It is also high in fibre and has protein, vitamins A, B, C and E, and beta-carotene - an antioxidant.
 
We have curated and developed a unique range of specialist health products of the highest quality for your cooking and self-care. Established in 2016 by ex-chef Noah Verin, our goal is to be able to supply the local marketplace with sustainable, guilt-free, affordable plant products. Everything from the packaging, to the growing medium, to the way we deliver, is based on having as little environmental impact as possible.
