Adora Handmade Chocolates, based in St. Peters NSW, are renowned for producing quality handmade chocolates confectionery and gelato, using vibrant and innovative fresh ingredients.

I’m Fiona, a Wiradjuri woman of the Lachlan River. Generations of my family have lived on the banks of the Belubula River, which is part of the Lachlan River catchment on the Central Tablelands in Central West NSW. 

Belubula is a Wiradjuri word meaning “stony river”, referring to Country peppered with basalt rock from eruptions of Mt Canobolas, a nearby extinct volcano. I feel the most grounded when standing on Country, where the trees are members of our mob and the flowers, fruits and leaves are our food and medicine. 

My business is called Chocolate On Purpose and was born on Country at the source of the Belubula River, in Millthorpe on the Central Tablelands. Our signature range of chocolate is called “Bush Food Chocolate”, created by combining melt in the mouth couverture chocolate with Australian Indigenous botanicals growing on Country. 

Chocolate On Purpose’s new brand identity as seen above is designed by Wiradjuri graphic artist Leticia-Anne Designs and embodies the Dreaming Story of Chocolate On Purpose. The Eagle Spirit created Country and it was a beautiful place. Yindyamarra, the Dreaming Spirit within, then created Chocolate On Purpose to be sure Country was a delicious place as well. 

Our Mission is to produce quality chocolate creations for both lovers of fine chocolate and those wanting to make the world of chocolate a better place for all, by sourcing Australian Indigenous botanicals from Aboriginal Communities around Australia and sustainable cocoa only from Suppliers who are members of the “Cocoa Horizons" Foundation. 

Our Vision is to educate the world about the superfood benefits of our Australian Indigenous botanicals and the wisdom of our First Nations People in their traditional use of these botanicals, so we are respected for this wisdom and honoured for our culture.

Pepo Farms is a family owned and operated company with all profits retained and used for continual growth and improvement. We are the first and only producers of pumpkin seeds in Australia and are proud to be a farm to plate company that produces pumpkin seeds for eating and a range of other seeds, nuts, oils and flours.  
We practice sustainable farming using organic and biodynamic practices ensuring we are good custodians of the soil. This involves our team working with our agronomist to constantly look for natural ways to enrich the soil. The use of cover crops and other means such as carbon capture allow us to go beyond simply not using any herbicides or pesticides. 

We take great pride in bringing to market healthy, nutritious products for all to enjoy.

We work directly with the farmers, they grow for us and we have provided them with a means, they are part of our family. At Pepo Farms, we are building a family farming company. We hope to build the future of growing food in Australia.

Our commitment is to develop a pumpkin seed industry in Australia so that Australian consumers have the choice to buy locally grown, fresh Australian products. Developing the export market is a high priority as it will ensure greater volume, lower costs and a sustainable, profitable crop for local farmers.

At ﻿Singing Magpie Produce we grow and produce delicious, premium sun dried fruit and gourmet goodies for people who care where their food is coming from.

We are passionate about figs...

Australia grows beautiful figs — plump, juicy, full-flavoured and with jewel-like pink centres that make even the simplest meal feel like a medieval feast. Unfortunately, the season is painfully short and fresh figs are a bugger to transport. Dried figs are the obvious answer. However Australians are used to the bland, grey imported product that are squashed flat and dried hard for their long journey in a shipping container.

At Singing Magpie we saw a huge opportunity to bring local foodies Australian semi-dried figs. Our figs are naturally sun-dried to retain their best figgy qualities, including intense flavour and a decadent chewy, stickiness that blends beautifully with many texture and flavour combinations. Our figs have no additives. We hand pick them, dry them in the beautiful Riverland sun and ship them to you — that’s it!

The plan started small with our semi-dried figs and quinces. Our range has now been expanded to include sticky quince syrup/figs, other local sun dried produce, fruit enrobed in premium dark chocolate couverture and boutique giftboxes.

Solomons Gold is an Australian family owned cacao social enterprise and for over a decade they’ve been working with cocoa growers and local landowners in the Solomon Islands to assist them to produce one of the world’s purest forms of single origin cacao, whilst also improving their standard of living. 

Solomons Gold founder, Clive Carroll first visited the Solomon Islands back in 2004, with a view to being involved in the growing and processing of cocoa, when his love of dark chocolate became more than a passion. Clive came across a group of run-down cocoa plantations, and with agriculture firmly in his DNA from his father’s avocado farms, it ignited a passion to bring these cocoa plantations back to life. 

It was a long, slow process of transforming neglected plantations while also building new infrastructure for local village farmers. Clive also established a cocoa buying, processing and cocoa export business, and at the same time provided numerous farmers with technical advice and financial support to enable them to improve, not only the quality of their cocoa but their quality of life. 

Today, they are one of the few chocolate companies in the world that control the entire process - from harvesting the cacao pods, hand grading the beans right through to handcrafting their bean to bar chocolate and cacao products. This bean to bar approach and their attention to quality ensures that they are able to consistently produce a premium, totally natural, single origin chocolate. They know where all their ingredients come from and only the best are selected.

They proudly use only organic ingredients and their products are 100% free of allergens (no dairy, gluten, nuts, soy) and are produced in their Kosher and HACCP certified factory. Their chocolate is some of the cleanest labels you will find on the market and their chocolate is made from only 2 ingredients - simply cacao + organic coconut sap sugar. They also produce a cacao + organic sugar formulation. 

Being a bespoke producer, they can also tailor their chocolate to whatever their client’s requirements are (ie: 60%, 80%, 100% cacao etc) and also tailor spec sizes for the nibs.

The beautiful, coastal town of Mount Maunganui in New Zealand is the perfect location for their chocolate factory not only because of its close proximity to the cacao plantations but it seemed fitting to establish the Solomons Gold brand in the beautiful ‘clean and green’ New Zealand.  They work with a variety of gourmet and Vegan food producers as well as chefs in both New Zealand and Australia. Solomons Gold chocolate has won silver and bronze awards at the Academy of Chocolate Awards in London in 2017 and 2018.

The Solomon Islands close location to the equator means their cacao flourish in perfect natural conditions, and the natural growing methods and pristine ecosystem speaks for itself in terms of the flavour and quality of their beans. From the cacao plantations to their grading facility in Honiara, Guadalcanal, only the finest chocolate grade cacao beans are hand-selected and dried. Less than 5% of the total cocoa volume they handle is deemed good enough quality for Solomons Gold chocolate. They select only the very best beans. 

The beans are then shipped to their chocolate factory in NZ where every step of the bean to bar process is carefully completed by hand. The cacao is roasted, cracked, winnowed, conched and tempered in small batches, using traditional artisan techniques. For Solomons Gold, it is what they don’t put into their chocolate that makes them special. 

For well over a decade Clive and his team have been working on the ground in the Solomon Islands and have been operating as a family owned social enterprise with the goal to assist local landowners and village cacao growers. Along the way there has never been a dull moment - whether it be travelling to extremely remote locations in the Solomon Islands to source cacao, working with Tribal village communities or seeing the destructive force of cyclones that have struck the region over the years. Through it all Clive has never lost focus on ensuring 100% sustainability and building a stable and a long-term cacao industry to benefit future generations of the Solomon Islands cocoa community. Today, it is these communities that remain at the very heart of the company and their passion for making chocolate.
