Since February 2021 Straight To The Source's hospitality expertise and skills have made an impact at a Riverina agritourism destination.
The Whitton Malt House, located in the Riverina region of NSW, was established in November 2020 to tell the soil-to-bottle story of Voyager Craft Malt; it is also the home of Voyager Craft Malt and its new state-of-the-art malting facilities.
A multi-faceted destination comprising a restaurant, cafe, cellar door, gift shop, accommodation and other entertainment options, the Whitton Malt House is one of the region’s newest and most exciting regional tourism destinations, with a mission to be a beacon of Riverina food and drink produce.
Engaged initially for our front-of-house skills and hospitality expertise, Straight To The Source’s Lucy Allon and Diana Williams have been working closely with the Whitton Malt House since February 2021 to mentor and upskill their team. The engagement has since extended to work across the business more broadly from a commercial and marketing perspective.
In January 2022, the Whitton Malt House was recognised as a finalist in the 2021 NSW Tourism Awards which celebrate business excellence, acknowledge business innovation and reward exceptional customer service, an accolade we could not be prouder of.
