Food, Views and Big Ideas launches today!
Tune in to hear Tawnya and Lucy in conversation with some of Australia’s most dynamic food business leaders, artisans and innovators in the gastronomic landscape.
We are so incredibly excited to announce that our very own Straight To The Source podcast, 'Food, News and Big Ideas’ goes live TODAY, Sunday, February 27'
Hosted by us, Tawnya Bahr & Lucy Allon, Food, Views and Big Ideas will connect listeners from around the world with some of Australia’s most dynamic food business leaders, artisans and innovators in the gastronomic landscape; people who are driving our food and hospitality industry forward and positively influencing the food landscape, whether it be on the land, in the kitchen or from the boardroom.
The first episode of the podcast features us in conversation with the inimitable Alice Zaslavsky (Alice in Frames), followed by episodes with Sue Heward, founder of Singing Magpie Produce, and Fiona Aveyard, co-founder of Outback Lamb.
All of our guests are playing a significant role in the evolution of Australia’s food identity and culture, whether that be locally, regionally, nationally or internationally. They are people driven by passion, who think outside the box and who are making a difference, and we want everyone to know who they are, their views and their big ideas.
This podcast is for YOU, our food and hospitality community, so we’d love to know if there's anyone in particular you’d like to hear from on a future podcast? If so, please drop us a line at hello@straighttothesource.com.au.
In our first episode we are in conversation with the inimitable Alice Zaslavsky (AliceInFrames) - cookbook author, broadcaster, tastemaker, radio host, producer, wife and mother - to find out what drives her passion to make food accessible for all, whatever the age! You may think you know Alice, but what we are loving about these episodes is that we are learning so much about our guests and connecting on an even deeper level!
Join us, won't you! Stream Ep.1, or link to it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts, here.
