Welcome to Brooklands Free Range Farms where we concentrate on our chemical free soil health which then translates to the health of our produce.  We regeneratively farm over 280 acres  breeding and rotational grazing Pastured Berkshire Pork and Grass Fed British White Beef which we sell direct through Farmers Markets and Restaurants, as well as local delivery. Our cattle and pigs munch away on our “salad bar” pastures which can consist of up to 15 different varieties of legumes, cereals, brassicas, vetch and flowers. Whilst the salad bar is growing its building healthy soils, keeping moisture and sequencing carbon. Our beef won a National Gold Medal in the delicious produce awards, and the Rare Breed British White Cattle, being one of the oldest breeds has a tenderness to be experienced.  Whilst the Berkshire Pork is famous for its marbling. Our pigs are also fed whey from a local cheese maker and spent brewers grain daily. During autumn they feast Quinces and Acorns for a month which gives them a flavour like no other. As well as Pork & Beef cuts we have Nitrate Free Bacon & Ham, handmade Gluten/Preservative Free Sausages. Brooklyn Boy Bagels is Sydney's first true artisan New York bagel maker and bakery. Launched by Brooklyn-born food journalist Michael Shafran, we produce bagels using the time-worn traditional methods that have made NYC the bagel capital of the world. From kettle-boiling to hand-rolling, long cold fermentation and top-quality produce, we put our hearts and souls into our bagels. We don't cut corners, so Australians can enjoy bagels the way they are meant to be: chewy, malty and with the necessary depth of flavour.

We are from the borough of Steve Buscemi, Mos Def, Mel Brooks, Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, the Brooklyn Nets, Larry David, Jimmy Fallon and the less-annoying cast members of Girls. We roast, flavour and make macadamia nut butters out of the nuts grown on the farm. We find the products are a healthy and rich pantry staple for gluten free and dairy free diets. Most products are vegan and all the macadamias we use are grown on our family farm between the Brother Mountains on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Brother Mountain Macadamias 

We sell seasonal macadamia products from our family farm nestled between the Brother Mountains on the Mid-North Coast of NSW

Bundarra Berkshires is a small free range pig farm just outside Barham in Southern NSW, established in 2011. We run our own butchery, handmaking small batches of charcuterie and smoked smallgoods and cutting aged pork cuts using traditional, preservative free recipes. Barham is located on alluvial floodplains of mineral rich clay on the Murray River and is typical of red gum forests, saltbush country and a diverse range of native grasses. The terroir of the landscape and their carefully selected vegetarian diet influences the pork’s characteristics which is earthy, sweet, clean and tender. The farm is run by a combination of biodynamic, regenerative and holistic farming practices that are best suited to the arid dryland environment, which includes no till, no chemicals, perennial pasture improvement and nurturing wild parts of the farm for wildlife and biodiversity. The business is focused on a light footprint and is striving for carbon neutral status. We use compostable packaging, 100% renewable energy sources and do not use synthetic fertilisers. 
Our pure Berkshire heritage breed pork is handcrafted into nitrate free products utilizing the whole animal. This allows us to maintain a high quality product which can be enjoyed for longer and also low animal numbers to maintain a small agricultural footprint.

Byron Bay Mozzarella is the brainchild of friends Valerio and Luca that established this gourmet cheese production in early 2014 out of a small kitchen in the Bay. Their goal was of producing the fresh mozzarella that they were longing for but could not find here in Australia.  

 

Now firmly planted in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, our production took their strong roots from Roma and Turin and now enjoying the Italian tradition of producing fresh mozzarella that they can enjoy during their long lunches here in Australia. 

 

Our mozzarella family has since grown to include a couple of food enthusiasts Nicola, chef Ryan and the next generation of cheese maker in little Kiki Rae. Together the Byron Bay mozzarella family in collaboration with local dairy farmers set forth in producing a growing range of the freshest handmade vegetarian friendly cheeses.

Byron Bay Mozzarella

Italian Cheese made from local milk and happy cows in the Northern Rivers of NSW.

Chestnut Brae was originally both a chestnut and daffodil farm, now only the chestnuts are farmed, but the abundant daffodils planted between the rows of chestnut trees means the orchards are stunning in Spring when the daffodils are flowering, ablaze with abundance and colour in Autumn, picturesque in Winter and a cool European forest of trees in Summer.

Located just 40 minutes from the Busselton Margaret River Airport on the Blackwood River Valley Farm Trail, Chestnut Brae is 15 minutes south of Nannup (off Vasse Highway and Chalwell Road) and 55 minutes inland from Margaret River. Chestnut Brae’s rolling hills, pastures, permanent flowing springs and mature chestnut forests give a feeling of being in Europe as you arrive at the farm. Wiltshire sheep are our lawn mowers that roam and forage through the orchards keeping suckers trimmed and the grass down.  Cheeky Guinea Fowl busily fossick keeping insects under control across the farm.  Heritage Wessex Saddleback pigs root and snuffle happily turning our soil over, adding to the soul satisfying peacefulness of Chestnut Brae.

The stunning gardens are part of the Organic Garden Trail, and open for The Festival of Country Gardens, the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival and Bloomin Wild.
